“A university that makes you work hard and be critical”

Overall
When doing a master, it is important that it is demanding and that it pushes you to work hard. The MSC in Communication Science at UvA does so. The teachers will engage you in order to be more critical and analytical. It is a project-based master that puts a lot of importance on teamworking.

As you will soon discover everybody commutes on the bike in Amsterdam. You can get one from EURO 60. Public transportation in the downtown area is slow and rather inefficient and very expensive in comparison to biking. You cannot avoid public transportation however when getting to the airport or IKEA store.
