Course recommendations
They have a very famous Games Technology course. Beware, it's very Maths heavy and has an VERY high drop-out rate. I'm on a BSc Computing course and will be going into the more specific Games Development option in 3rd year.

Well since I'm an English speaker anyway, the only difficulty I had was with the accent... which I eventually tried to pick up. Unsuccessfully.

Club-wise, it's always a decision between Mardis Gras, Circus and Dundee Union. All great places. So many pubs, but my favourite is Pivo. And for coffee, Costas. And for an all-day breakfast, The Good Food Shop cannot be beat!

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Independently - My choice
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Going into second year, the common thing to do is share a flat with a friend or friends. It generally works out cheaper.

The accomodation is quite basic. 1st years are placed quite far from the university. Always book your accommodation early or you may be placed in the crappy Taymills place like me... horribly bad. I got lucky and found a lovely place to stay instead.
