Thornbank Gardens rocks ! Brand new off campus residence. Met a lot of nice people. High speed network available in each room for a good price, linked to the uni network. A little bit on the expensive side though.

Buy a Young Person Railcard that will save you a third off every journey. Worthy from the first ticket bought to/from London. Take the train via Soulsbury to save money.
