Make a more interesting mix of students on the campus (and do not put 3 French girls in one appartment for instance!!!).

Birmingham is a great city with a lot of activities and possibilities. London is also only 2 hours away by train therefore one can easily go and get back in one day. The campus life is great and I would recommend people to stay on campus. Close to the University there is everything: supermarket, banks... The professors at the UCE are very accessible, therefore get in contact with them as much as possible. They will help you always.

Birmingham is in the center of the UK! Thus, it is a great destination. However, in terms of education UCE is not the best. Better go to Aston Uni or Birmingham Uni

Excrutiating painful learning experience!
Carla W
United Kingdom, Undergraduate
Design (Fashion, Graphic, Industrial, Web), 2009
Overall
Very competent
Cover of all areas within Jewellery Studies.
Exponential growth in all jewellery areas.
Excruciating painful learning experience.
No pedagogy & some mean teachers & colleagues.
No compassion, for foreigners.
Risk of developing severe depression.
Not only my case but many cases of jewellery students.
Not meant for sensitive artistic souls.
