Since English is only taught for about ten years in Czech schools, communication with older people is really hard.
But with hands and feet and a few basic Czech sentences, you'll come a long way.
The students' and professors' English is, considering, pretty good.

Because of the overcrowded campus, I belonged to a group which was placed in a (lower end) hotel. The hotel offered us some more luxury than the campus facilities.

The Master degree study offered more freedom of choice to learn beyond the scope of my specialty (business analysis), thus granting me the opportunity to take part in the highly sought after Data Science & Business Intelligence academy. Another unique feature of my university is the study of a minor specialization (I chose Multimedia communication), broadening my horizons.

In Prague there are a lot of things to be seen. Visiting places (like the castle, churches; the different areas in Prague) took up a lot of my time, but there are still things left to be seen when I come back to this city.
Favourite spot: RadostFX.
Radost is a mix of (my favourite) restaurant (vegetarian), a pub and a disco. Not to be missed.
The different jazz clubs are absolutely something to go to. Really relaxed atmosphere.

The student dormitory was very cheap way to live. Travelling wasn't so expensive but I travelled quite much because Prague is so central in Europe and it's easy to travel from there. I spent the same amount of money for food but I ate more often in restaurants than in Finland.
