Food is incredibly expensive. Eating out is not much more expensive than cooking for yourself. Snacks like sandwiches are 3 pounds and are not great quality, 2 Chicken breast fillets are 13 pounds, There was no telephone provided by the univeristy and I had to use a mobile with a calling card. The bill could be 200 pounds a month. I strongly recommend using the internet (for which access is provided) and a software that allows you to make phone calls to a telephone. A Day travel card cost 5.20 pounds, Nightlife: Entry to a venue is 5-10 pounds

I spent less for the telephone because there are very good deals. I spent a lot more for everything else simply because life in London is extremely expensive
