Personal comments
The flat was little (20 s.m.) but nice. I had my own kitchen and bath. I could use washmachines and a sauna in common with other students. I also had a 24 h of internet connection in my flat.

The reason why I came to Finalnd was to learn Finnish. I am a translator and I wanted to learn it as best as I could. That's why I tried to meet Finnish people, because I was interested n their language and culture. However, year is not enough for learning the Finnish language. That's why I'm back in Finland, but this time working for a Finnish company and speaking Finnish 24 hours/day!

Course recommendations
There are some courses for which you have to apply on-line otherwise you are not accepted but these are more for local students studying in finnish. Nevertheless sometimes you have to register well in advance (in december for the spring semester).
anyway you always can go and see the lecturer for more information or send an e-mail, they are very helpful!
