The dominate langauge used is english as finnish is far harder for non-finns to learn. Most if not all people know some basic english so communication is not a problem.

The place to be on Wednesdays is Amarillo for nice drinks. The Barfly is a nightclub and The students headquarter on Thursdays. Go to Molly Malone to get Irish drinks

The quality of housing is at a very high level. The University offered me a private appartment with kitchen and bathroom for just FIM 500 (about 76 Euro) per month.
