The UIUC community lives by a work hard and play hard mentality. Students from philosophy to engineering are consistently working 5 plus hours a night studying in the library while weekends are spent cruising Green Street to have fun with friends and bars and clubs. I would 100% recommend for any exchange or international student who is considering American universities for study.
