Budget for exactly double your living expenses in the states, always carry a visa card, roam your cellphone if you're going around europe, even if you never use it, it could save your life, Walk or get a bus pass, single bus tickets are daylight robbery

Housing
Type of housing: Apartment/House
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Private is the way to go, its cheaper and University housing limits what u can get: cable tv, furnishing. That only works if you know the area to a certain minimum, if its your first time, stick with university housing
