First semester, we stayed at Holiday Inn although we paid for Dorms, but the cost was the same !. Living at Holiday Inn was an amazing experience ! Can you imagine a student in a hotel for the whole semester ? .Second semester, we moved to campus and i was at Eaton Residence which was really, really good.

You must hurry up to take your courses before the classes start because they will be full in a really short time. The reason is because there are not a lot of available free places in every class, just 15 in average.

It is not to hard to communicate to other students/proffesors... but if your home language is spanish, you shouldn't talk a lot with latin people because they are a lot at this University and you will end up talking only in spanish and not improving your english.

I strongly recommend coming to study to UM . It is an unforgettable experience. Only one bad thing: be ready for the horrible reverse culture shock when you will be back to your country at the end of the semester!

VISA international has problems in USA. When you make a deposit with VISA and they give you back, it can take 12 days to have your money already back because of VISA international policy.
