Food is cheaper in England than in Spain, at least in supermarkets, and I used to buy fast food. Here in Spain I have more time to cook and I spend more money.
Housing is more expensive in England than in Spain but I had more facilities than here.
And I spent more money on travel because I tried to visit a lot of interesting places.

Languages
Language of instruction: English
Was learning English a key decision factor?
No, it wasn't.
How much did you improve your English?
My level before: Everyday knowledge (shopping, directions, etc.)
My level after: At ease in most situations
Language difficulties
Administrative / Institutional
Personal comments
If you don't try to meet English people and you just go out and be with people who speak your language you are not going to learn anything. You must try to be with English people and don't be shy.

Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: On campus
Why?
You can meet more people and be in an international environment. And I also think that you can learn more English because I was living with 5 English people.

It is a kind of club inside the university where you can find nightlife and groups which organize activities and trips.
