The classic student nights are to be seen (Isis, Works) however it becomes quickly boring.
There are plenty of pubs and discos in the centre.

Why?
It is located between the city centre and the campus. The houses are normally bigger than the campus.

I did not live in the university, but the rooms are small. They give lists of houses which help the students who all find in a few days.
