The fact is that, here in Ottawa (Canada), people speak both French and English. As I'm French and I spoke English before coming, it was not a problem!

Final comments
Canada is a HUGE country that has to be visited from East to West. Culture is real particular: a mix between the USA and some European countries, such as England... You have to be confident and step forward to people; if you don't do so, you'll be by yourself!
