Nice places to go out: Soul Cellar (next to civic centre); The hobbit (pub), Jesters (very cheap pub);

it depends which hall you choose. I saw 2 halls. One was new with big rooms and a shared kitchen with 5 people. The other one was old with tiny rooms and a shared kitchen with 10 people. Basically the halls are not really cheap and you need good luck to get a nice, big room.
The relationship between teachers and students is very good and teachers are more like colleagues who help you to study. The courses were mainly very interesting but partly quite a lot of work.

It was alright. It was quite a lot of work but you really learn something useful and learn how you apply certain things. There are a lot of pracical examples.
I wish that I would have known that there are plenty of houses available to rent and that it is no problem to find accommodation there.

Choose courses which aren't that much work in order to engage more in social life which is more important to improve your language skills.

Courses: choose at least 2 courses with 100% courses where you don't have a final exam.
Accommodation: if you want to live in a nice room, you have to pay 240 Pounds at the minimum.

I had a lot of international friends. For this reason, I couldn't improve my language skills that much as they all were no native speakers. I could only learn english at the university. That was quite a pity but the problem is that it is much more easier to get to know international students than people of the local community.
