Variety of courses to choose your career path, awesome teachers, fully equipped library and staff who were ready to help. Interaction with foreign students was good. But the local danish students were not friendly or accommodative . if you are a foreign student and especially more so from Africa, was hell of a place to be. Being black and in a class of 99 % white students you were left alone, there was no one to talk to, rest of students would re-group and leave you alone. if you don't impose yourself into a group you would be left alone and especially the group assignments .

Locals not friendly, teachers should encourage the locals to accommodate the foreign students so that they feel a sense of belonging.
There was no choice of courses possible, it was a complete Erasmus curriculum. The only choice that was given was between an extra English grammar class and a class about Danish society and economy.
If you do not have very high expectations, if you like beautiful landscapes and quiet places where everyone knows each other, then you should give it a try.

I have to admit that some students, especially from the US, were disappointed about the academic life. Maybe it´s better to come at an early time of your studies, so the courses mean some progress to your academic knowledge. For meeting people from all over the world, I highly recommend Sonderborg.
