The slang was hard to grasp at first and some accents are very thick but the more you talk with people, the easier it will be to understand, just don't be shy.

Pros
The campus, the sports facilities, and the location near the ocean.
Cons
The location is a little remote, and the weather is not the best. The winters especially are very wet and cold.

Going to Edinburgh for weekend trips is fantastic, especially in the winter. Going to London on the train to see a show was lots of fun too

Bank fees. Unable to obtain form of employment. Get student ID cards for travel discounts. Car pool, share rides, network. Stay w/friends instead of hotels. Hostels great.
