Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
Being older now, i would probably choose to live in a shared flat off campus. For an exchange student (especially if it's your first time abroad) campus accommodation is a good choice, though.

In my opinion:
Most people loved it.
Important factors in my choice
(1) Unimportant – (4) Very important
Personal recommendation
The University of Stirling is used to international students, and is quite flexible what comes to course selection and administration. Teaching (at least of Film & Media) was good, too.

During my experience abroad, I ...
(1) Never – (4) A lot
Became familiar with another culture
Met people from other countries
Experienced a change in life
Advanced my studies & career
Final comments
If Scotland interests you and you're not necessarily looking for the hustle and bustle of big cities, Stirling is an excellent choice. Besides, Glasgow and Edinburgh are so near that you make regular day-trips, should the every-day environment get boring (which it probably won't do).
