Personal comments
Before I went to study at Sussex University I found it really difficult to understand people as speaking. I did not have problems with written English but I did with my spoken skills. After coming back I was able to understand most of people (if they did not have a strong English accent or speak very quickly).

I wish I had known...
Actually I had a lot of information about the place and the university before I going there. Nevertheless I could not expect that it would be one of the best experiences in my life.

Housing
Type of housing: On campus
Arranged by: Host university
If returning, I would choose: Apartment/House
Why?
I'd choose to live in an apartment/house with English flatmates so that I could have a higher chance to improve my English because most of the international students usually live on campus and many of them are from your home country, which doesn't make you speak English as much as you should.

I am quite satisfied with housing at Sussex University. There were a lot of facilities for students but in my opinion housing was a bit expensive.
