“Great campus-based and very international university”
Ingrid B
United Kingdom, Undergraduate
Economics, 2022
Overall
Overall, I’ve had a good experience at Warwick. My studies have been disrupted by Covid-19, and although the quality of teaching online is not the same as in person, I feel the university has coped well with the digital teaching transition and the standard of education has been maintained as far as possible.
Careers support from the university is abundant, but I feel it should offer more practical and hands-on help with finding and making live applications, rather than just abstract advice. There is also ample and easily-accessed wellbeing support, though I haven’t used/assessed it myself.
Lovely campus environment/community. Easy to navigate and feel part of the community and meet people - especially when living on-campus in the first year of undergraduate studies. I’ve also been pleasantly surprised by the high proportion of international students; it’s great to study with and get to know people from around the whole world.

“UK Campus Uni Experience”
Ratheha K
United Kingdom, Undergraduate
Economics, 2021
Overall
Unlike the city universities of London, the University of Warwick is based on a campus where everything you need is only a short walk away. It is like living in a bubble where you will often bump into people you know, which makes for a familiar, close experience. Though understandably some may not like this. Teaching quality varies from lecturer to lecturer. Inevitably there are some bad ones just as there are many great teachers. Many courses are flexible and there are many opportunities to learn languages and/or study abroad. Social life is good with a variety of campus societies and sports on offer.

Don^t get it too seriously. They^^ll try to impress you by making it look hard, but the sooner you take it easy the better for you.

don't expect too much of the british midlands, but it's a good location to for travelling around (london 1h, birmingham 20 min, etc.); when travelling compare prices of means of transport, it is usually worth it!
