don't expect too much of the british midlands, but it's a good location to for travelling around (london 1h, birmingham 20 min, etc.); when travelling compare prices of means of transport, it is usually worth it!

4.0/5
Overall
The University of Warwick is very well known in the UK and abroad. Students evolve in a very dynamic environment and are most keen to work in the financial sector. That is mainly what I discovered after two years at Warwick, that most students are interested to launch into finance.

Expenses
Main source of funding:
Family
Other sources of funding:
Personal savings<br> An ERASMUS grant
Work opportunities:
I worked during my study abroad experience
Personal spending habits
Food is much more expensive here than it is in Germany and travel and housing as well. But I have a Young Persons Railcard which gives you up to 30% off all train fares and booking early is a way to ensure you get the cheapest tickets. The yearly (or termly) bus pass that you need when you don't have a car or bike comes with a discount coach card (30% off National Express tickets) but is quite expensive.

Second-hand text books
Second-hand household items

Money from home
Personal comments
Household items can often be bought in charity shops .. and glasses and crockery are often fairly cheap at the beginning of term. The supemarket at the university is comparatively cheap as well.
