Personal recommendation
The best feature is the location and the host family situation. The worst feature is that it goes on strike regularly and the library has nothing. Communicating with home is difficult. But the peopel you meet will make a lasting impression.

GO TO VICTORIA FALLS!!!!! Even though it's really touristy, it is the most amazing place on the planet. You must go!!!! To travel cheap, use "chicken buses" not typical tourist transportation, and camp wherever you can. The weather is always nice for camping.

It was a teacher and student, and student to student environment, where you would learn about professionalism, as much as to instill knowledge and wisdom to the students. Philosophy, psychology we learnt about child development, socialisation. How to deal and relate the different people and races above the earth, in schools as we teach. How to adapt given environment, public speaking, computer science we learnt, National strategies we learn. Health and life skills was shared above all.

Good undergrad worst post grad experience

Courses taught during my undergrad studies in Agriculture were insightful and quite useful when I got employed. Thsy didn't likit me to the agricultural sector. Staff at the faculty of Agriculture were amazing and everything there was geared towards making the student's life easier, enjoyable whilst also enriching the student. The life of a student in that faculty is balanced.

The worst experience you can get at the university is from the Business School. I decided to go back to the university to get an MBA. Worst mistake of my life. If you're thinking about it, don't do it. The courses offered are interesting and eye opening but academic support staff are terrible. The professors are alright. Staffers at business school are terrible, they don't respond to emails or communicate important information. When they do, sometimes they opt to do it through third parties which sours the entire experience. I don't recommend studying an MBA from UZ

Course recommendations
The courses are all really small, which is nice. One of my classes only had three students. But the classes are separated from normal University of Zimbabwe classes, so only Americans are in the classes, which is disappointing. The library is awful, as all African libraries are, and when the university has a strike, you can't get into the library at all. Plan to do a lot of independent work.

With Zimbabwe's limited resources, it's hard to make suggestions because there isn't any money to make improvements.
