i spoke mainly english over there. finnish language being pretty difficult. Finns being able to speak quite good english it was no problem to communicate. i'm still working though on imporving my finnish skills

yes it was fine...i never felt difficulties in academic affairs but I felt problems while communicating with the local community.

all Finns speak English pretty well, so there is no problems with communication everywhere. On the other hand it is diffucult to improve the good English- it is not mother tongue after all:-)!

Finnish people are native like english speaker, all the courses at the university are held in english, since it is considered as the official business language.
