“Independent work”

Lithuania, Undergraduate
Engineering, Mechanical, 2025
Overall
In vilnuis Gediminas technical university, I’ve learned how to work for long hours independently using different sources specially in the practical subjects and the programs that are offered by the university like SOLIDWORKS and cad . However, as long as you are participating in courses and classes you shouldn’t expect to get the amount of the information needed to fulfil the subject that you are enrolled in, but try to set a general idea of the requirements from the professors so that you can proceed in the projects and assignments properly.

“University life”
Mariami C
Georgia, Graduate
Environmental Sciences, 2019
Overall
I have graduated Vilnius Gediminas Technical university this year 2019 of June. First of all, I want to tell that all the courses in an environmental protection faculty are very practical and useful for engineering students. Many practical course jobs are helping to improve and use theoretical knowledge in practice. About teachers, I can tell that they are all professionals of their job and very respectful, always trying to help students. University always support students, wanna mention that there is a lot of exchange programs and internship opportunities which is important and helpful for every student. Apart from studying, the university has many activities as singing groups and dancing as well as sport teams. There is a good environment for study, good laboratories, and friendly staff.

“An overview of a student in biomechanics about UNI”
Aleksandras S
Lithuania, Undergraduate
Engineering, 2021
Overall
I would like to say, that VGTU university gives you all necessary information for your individual study and you have to work hard to assimilate the information, since there is not always enough time in lectures in order to understand information from the first time. As a student of Biomechanical Engineering, first two years you will study fundamental engineering subjects such as mathematics, physics, chemistry, Programming C, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Fluid Mechanics and et al. Overall, I am satisfied with my study experience since it gave me a good foundation for my further development.
