defenitely supported my language skills; learning dutch in amsterdam is almost impossible, since everyone speaks english there and people dont answer you in dutch when you try to ask them in dutch

Final comments
try to get a dorm downtown - the vu has a dorm close to the university, but its a pain in the butt to get to clubs. however, there were a lot of parties at the hospitium.
