Clinical Application Specialist IGT - Interventional Cardiology/Radiology (Flanders area)
Job Description
Act as a trusted ambassador for Philips, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction while contributing to the achievement of our commercial objectives.
As a Clinical Application Specialist - Image Guided Therapy (IGT), you will play a highly field-based and consultative role, engaging with customers both pre- and post-sales. You will build strong relationships by communicating in an empathetic and compelling way, supporting clinical excellence and optimal system utilisation.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical education and consultancy services, tailored to customer needs, across both new installations and the existing installed base. Your scope will cover the full IGT portfolio, including interventional angiography systems, mobile C-arms, and interventional hemodynamic systems.
Your role
* Design and deliver structured training programmes to enable users to independently and effectively operate the IGT portfolio and utilise advanced system functionalities.
* Customise systems to meet specific clinical and user requirements, working closely with Project Management and Account Management to optimise performance for each customer.
* Support and implement trial installations in collaboration with Service and Business Innovation Units (BIU), ensuring systems are fully operational and collecting valuable feedback for product evaluation.
* Proactively monitor system usage through regular customer interaction, identifying opportunities to optimise performance, resolve operational issues, and adapt solutions to evolving clinical needs.
* Deliver ongoing clinical education programmes tailored to specific applications, ensuring users maximise system capabilities in their clinical practice.
* Support commercial activities by conducting product demonstrations and presentations to drive adoption and sales of the IGT portfolio.
* Maintain close collaboration with BIU teams to continuously develop application expertise and stay up to date on product innovations and new developments.
* Contribute to product improvement by collecting and sharing structured customer feedback (e.g. via Customer Feedback Reports) to support the development of new features and system enhancements.
You're the right fit if:
* Bachelor Degree in medical imaging or nursing;
* Proven experience in interventional cardiology and/or radiology;
* Customer oriented;
* Good Communication- and Negotiation skills;
* Stress resistant and flexible;
* You are fluent in Dutch and English, knowledge of French is considered as an asset.
