Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:Ensuring correct and daily execution of key responsibilities in the GBS Center according to the requirements of GBS policies, procedures and guidelines, and according to the Group Accounting Manual for specific area of responsibility (Accounts receivable/Retail/eCom)Self-directed worker for a specific service areaSupports organizational effectiveness through the identification and communication of process improvement opportunitiesKey Responsibilities:Perform accounting tasks in AR Wholesale/Retail/eCom for simple marketsPerform tasks in AR scope, e.g. cash application, master data creation and maintenance, daily billing checkPerform sales vs. collection reconciliation for simple customers, landlords and online storesPerform reports preparation, e.g. aging reportPerform recurring journal at closingSupport simple audit tasks standard processesCreate and maintain desktop procedures (SME only)Handling of simple internal and external customer queriesTrain new employees (e.g. cash application)Handling of ticketsRaise smart work ideas Key Relationships: Team colleaguesSuperiorColleagues connected via the process area in other parts of GBSBusiness Partner key contacts (only some areas e.g. GL)Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Good communication skillsCustomer service mindsetVery good English levelRequisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:University degree or equivalent education requiredMinimum of 1 year work experience in Finance
