Global Distribution is part of the Vestas Service Supply Chain organization and is responsible for managing and optimizing global transport flows for the Service business. Our team consists of experienced logistics specialists working across regions to ensure safe, efficient, and cost effective transportation of service components worldwide.
We operate in an international environment where collaboration, data driven decisions, and continuous improvement are essential. As a student worker, you will support both operational logistics tasks and financial analysis, contributing directly to performance improvements in one of the most dynamic parts of the Service Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities:

* Support transport cost analysis, budgeting, and monthly financial reporting

* Assist in identifying transport and logistics cost saving opportunities

* repare performance dashboards and KPI reports for transport activities

Ad hoc:

* Support inbound and outbound transport operations for service materials

* Contribute to business cases for new logistics solutions or process improvements

* Support carrier performance follow up and prepare related documentation

* Assist in daily administrative tasks related to customs, freight, and scheduling

* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across Global Distribution

Qualifications

* Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or similar

* Solid financial and analytical skills with interest in supply chain and logistics

* Proficient user of Excel

* Fluent in English, spoken and written

* Comfortable working with data and creating structured reports

* Ability to analyze financial data effectively and translate findings into clear insights

* Structured, detail oriented, and fact based approach to tasks

* Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across stakeholders

* Shows initiative and a commitment to continuous learning

* Ability to prioritize tasks and manage a dynamic workload

Additional Information
Primary workplace: Dusager 4, Aarhus N, Denmark
Work time: 20 hours weekly. You align with your manager on what days you are working. We are flexible to accommodate your studies in periods where you have to study for exams etc.
