Working student with Responsible AI-development und -implementation (d/f/m)

You are a full time student (d/f/m), looking for a working student position and want to get to know the work of a Responsible AI Specialist (d/f/m)? Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting us in the Advanced Analytics and AI Department as a working student (d/f/m) with approx. 18 hours a week!
* Location: Hamburg
* Start: as soon as possible
* Duration: 12 months

You will receive a collectively agreed salary of at least EUR18.53 per hour, depending on the job. There are also special payments such as vacation pay.

Definition working student

Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Finkenwerder
Are you wondering how you actually get from university to Airbus? Your working student position is at the Finkenwerder plant and you can take the ferry from Teufelsbrück to the Airbus ferry terminal and back to the university in the morning and at noon. Alternatively, you can take the ferry to Finkenwerder and then ride your bike for about another 15 minutes to the main entrance.

Your tasks and responsibilities

* Continue to further develop our Responsible AI by Design and Standards to incorporate the latest technological and regulatory advances.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of metrics, design methodologies, and educational resources focused on addressing the Environmental Impact of AI.
* Support the continuous growth of the AI Community within Airbus, including organizing events, animating communities, and developing Airbus-specific technical educational materials as needed.

Desired skills and qualifications

* Full time enrolled Master student (d/f/m) in Artificial Intelligence or an equivalent field.
* Experience & Knowledge:
* Some experience developing AI solutions across various techniques and capabilities.
* Strong passion for ensuring the responsible development and deployment of AI, with some prior knowledge of Ethical AI Principles and AI Regulations.
* Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
