ZEISS Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology

Enabler for smaller, more powerful and more energy-efficient microchips - work where tomorrow is created.

Around 80 percent of all microchips worldwide are manufactured using ZEISS technologies. As the core of every electronically controlled system, they have become an indispensable part of our everyday lives - whether in smartphones, smart homes or smart factories. ZEISS is a technology leader in semiconductor manufacturing equipment. With highly precise lithography optics, photomask systems and solutions for process control, ZEISS enables the production of increasingly smaller, more powerful and more energy-efficient microchips, helping to shape the era of micro- and nanoelectronics through innovation.
In this role, you will contribute to the further development of EUV lithography systems and help ensure the highest cleanliness and quality standards across demanding development and production processes.

Your role
* Support requirements management for contamination prevention in new EUV lithography systems
* Define specifications for products, supplier parts and process chains with regard to cleanliness criteria
* Review initial samples and perform tolerance assessments for series parts
* Contribute to the development of new contamination metrology for EUV test setups and lithography scanner applications
* Provide technical support to development partners and suppliers
* Coordinate lifetime testing as well as surface and coating analysis to investigate EUV and plasma interactions
* Take responsibility for core competencies in particulate contamination prevention, particle measurement technology and particle generation

Look forward to a highly challenging technical role in an innovative environment where you can apply and further expand your expertise at the interface of chemistry, physics and development.

Your profile

* Successfully completed degree in chemistry, physics or engineering, ideally with a master's degree or equivalent
* PhD or relevant professional experience is an advantage
* Experience in leading development projects
* Knowledge of vacuum and ultra-high vacuum technology is desirable
* Knowledge of lithography systems and their applications is an advantage
