Uniplaces is an online marketplace for booking student accommodation. Based in Lisbon, the platform was founded in 2012 by Portuguese Miguel Amaro, Argentine Mariano Kostelec and British Ben Grech. As of October 2015, students from over 140 countries have booked with Uniplaces for a total of more than 500,000 nights.
