About the role

We have an excellent opportunity for a Sample Technician to join our RD&A team in Mozzo, Italy.

The Sample Technician is responsible for the preparation and packaging of the samples to be sent to the customers based on the inputs received by the Sampling Process Supervisor and the Sample Manager.

Key responsibilities

* Supporting Commercial and RD&A teams by blending, preparing & packing samples of finished products & Raw materials.
* Dispatching Samples with required documentation and according to WOWs and procedures
* Maintaining & replenishing raw material stocks as required.
* Maintaining a clean and tidy working area in accordance with Hygiene and company food production standard.
* Ensuring a safe & inclusive environment for the whole team.
* Updating SFDC with pertinent information such as when dispatched or material shortages & delays as per WOWs.
* Ensuring samples are coliant with business rules, confirming with senior staff where necessary
* Physical preparation of the sampling and shipment to the Customer
* Accurate control in every detail of the sample, before it leaves the Sample Room. The sample represents the final result of the team's work and becomes the "business card" for the Customers:
* Ensure that all the shipments include all the relevant documentation TDS, SDS, allergens, accompanying letters, specific documents on request.
* Packaging of samples using appropriate plastic and glass containers, labels and envelopes.
* Warehouses: Management of the samples warehouse through loading and unloading of the vertical and ground warehouse.
* Cleaning: maintaining the order and cleanliness of the warehouse

Qualifications and skills

* High school diploma
* Knowledge of the English language
* Experience in filing, warehouse management, shipping
* Accuracy
* Basic planning skills, prioritisation.
* Ability to interact and communicate at all levels
* Basic computer usage
* Ability to maintain a clean and orderly work environment
* Ability to collaborate and work in a team
