Job Description:
As part of the Manufacturing Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the manufacture of current and future products across our entire product range and the full programme lifecycle. Working closely with stakeholders across Manufacturing and Engineering you will use your knowledge and experiences to support our manufacturing systems and processes.
Core duties:
* Own and develop PCB test processes including Boundary Scan, Flying/Roving Probe, Functional Test, Easy Wire, and DITMCO
* Create, validate, and maintain test programs, fixtures, and test documentation
* Engage with Engineering and Design teams to define test requirements and coverage
* Deliver test systems and procedures to the shop floor
* Maintain and repair test equipment to ensure availability and reliability
* Support the shop floor with test failures, root cause analysis, and training of test technicians
Essential Skills:
* Experience writing and supporting test programs
* Ability to troubleshoot test failures and perform structured root cause analysis
* Knowledge of IPC standards (e.g. IPC-A-610, IPC-620 and J-STD-001), with the ability to interpret, apply, and enforce requirements within an aerospace quality framework
* Good stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with Design, Quality, Production, and Supply Chain teams
The Manufacturing Engineering Services Team:
As part of the Manufacturing Engineering Services team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the manufacture of current and future products across our entire product range and the full programme lifecycle. Working closely with stakeholders across Manufacturing and Engineering you will use your knowledge and experiences to support our manufacturing systems and processes during initial bid, new product introduction, production and repair, to ultimately ensure product quality is met within schedule and budget targets.
