Job description
The main responsibilities and activities associated with the role are listed below:
* identify and analyze the technical, functional and performance characteristics of mechanical systems (components, mechanical transmissions, kinematic mechanisms) and hydraulic systems (servo controls and hydraulic circuits)
* identify and define the cost drivers of mechanical and hydraulic components/equipment
* estimate the cost of mechanical and hydraulic products by applying the most appropriate industrial cost estimation methods (parametric / analogy / bottom-up). Perform VA/VE (Value Analysis / Value Engineering) analyses on mechanical and hydraulic products

Requirements
* Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering (specialization in mechanical and hydraulic systems)
* knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems (rotary-wing and/or fixed-wing aircraft)
* mechanical technologies, development and testing of mechanical and hydraulic systems
* Problem Solving
* VA/VE
* english, advanced/intermediate level (spoken and written)
