Job description

Barilla G. & R. Fratelli wants to recruit a Process Improvement Line Leader for the Melfi plant. The individual will report to the Production Manager.

Job Purpose

Implement, promote and encourage, for the competence area/line, a continuous improvement environment in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness in terms of production performance, Quality, Safety and Environment/Energy, involving all the functions related to the production processes and stimulating the engagement of line personnel.

Key Accountabilities

As change agent, intercept opportunities for improvement, by the analysis of reporting systems and evidence from the field also reported by the functions involved, activating and managing specific team in order to define improvement solutions. Based on the projects in progress, provide input to the planner and shift leaders (line stops, production of particular items, combinations of specific items/products, tests, etc.) for special requests related to the production planning. For the competence line/area, take part to the definition of budget concerning Capex, KPIs, Quality, Safety and Environment, highlighting any need and/or areas of saving in order to ensure proper economic coverage for the following year.

In collaboration with shift leaders ensure compliance of Quality, Safety and Environmental standards implementing all the related procedures for his/her specific area/line and support the preparation of external audits. For his/her specific area/line, perform, with Quality, HSEE and shift leaders root cause analysis related to complaints/ non-complaints, accidents/non-accidents through analysis of the dynamics occurred, interviews with the personnel involved, defining preventive and/or corrective actions in order to prevent similar events. Report to the specific person in case of an emergency.

In collaboration with the plant Technologist intercept any structural issue related to the process standards by monitoring kpis (recipe, cooking diagrams, etc.) and specific tools installed on the lines, and define appropriate adjustments and/or changes in order to ensure compliance with the product standard. In collaboration with shift leaders and relevant functions, ensure resources needed during the technological tests (people/tools/ equipment) in order to support the technologists in carrying out pilot phases.

Requirements

* Degree in Mechanical Engineering

* Previous experience of 1-2 years in industrial environments with focus on quality, safety, production, lean, or Six Sigma

Barilla G. & R. Fratelli vuole assumere un Process Improvement Line Leader per lo stabilimento di Melfi, la figura riporterà al Responsabile di Produzione.

Scopo

Ottimizzare, promuovere e sostenere, per l'area/linea di competenza, un approccio al miglioramento continuo al fine di migliorare l'efficienza ed efficacia in termini di production performance, qualità, sicurezza e ambiente/energy; coinvolgendo tutte le funzioni delle linee di produzione e sollecitando il coinvolgimento del personale di linea.

Principali responsabilità

In quanto agente del cambiamento, la figura dovrà intercettare le opportunità volte al miglioramento, attraverso l'analisi dei sistemi di reporting e delle testimonianze sul campo riportate dalle funzioni coinvolte, attivando e coordinando le risorse allocate al fine di definire delle soluzioni di miglioramento.

A seconda dei progetti, fornire suggerimenti al planner e agli shift leaders (fermi di linea, produzione di prodotti speciali, tests, ecc.) per richieste speciali in relazione ai piani di produzione. Per l'area/linea di competenza, prendere parte nella definizione del budget circa il CAPEX, KPIs, Qualità, Sicurezza e Ambiente, evidenziando le aree che necessitano di saving così da mantenere una copertura adeguata l'anno successivo.

In collaborazione con gli shift leaders, assicurare il rispetto degli standards di Qualità, Sicurezza e Ambiente implementando le relative procedure per aree/linee specifiche e supportare la preparazione di audits esterni. Per l'area/linea assegnata, eseguire con il Quality, HSEE e shift leaders analisi delle cause ultime legate ai reclami/non reclami, incidenti/non incidenti attraverso una valutazione delle dinamiche, interviste con il personale coinvolto, definendo poi le azioni preventive da applicare al fine di prevenire simili eventi.

In collaborazione con il Plant Technologist intercettare qualsiasi problema strutturale in relazione con le procedure standard, monitorando KPIs (ricette, cooking diagrams, ecc.) e i macchinari installati sulle linee. Definire appropriati cambiamenti e/o modifiche al fine di assicurare il rispetto degli standard di prodotto. In collaborazione con gli shift leaders e le funzioni coinvolte, assicurare la presenza delle risorse necessarie durante i test tecnici (persone/strumenti/attrezzatura) al fine di supportare i tecnologi nelle fasi pilota.

Requisiti

* Laurea in Ingegneria Meccanica

* Esperienza lavorativa precedente di 1-2 anni nel settore industriale con focus nella qualità, sicurezza, produzione, lean o Six Sigma
