Responsibilities

The Opportunity

Procurement Indirects manager - North America, responsible for executing and optimizing buying activities across indirect goods and services within PepsiCo's PR2PO framework and regional scope.
Leads local negotiations, develops and maintains rate cards and catalogs to accelerate PO processing, and serves as a key point of contact for suppliers and end users through myBUY (SAP Ariba).
Drives cost savings, automation, data quality, and policy compliance, while strengthening stakeholder engagement, user adoption, and continuous improvement across the procurement ecosystem.

Your Impact

As Proc Reg Category Mgmt Assoc Manageryour scope would consist of

Tactical Buying & Negotiation
Execute local negotiations across indirect categories to secure competitive pricing and service levels.
Develop, implement, and maintain rate cards and catalogs to reduce PR-to-PO cycle time and increase catalog adoption.
Ensure alignment with category strategies, TCO principles, and sourcing best practices.
Supplier & User Enablement
Act as first-line support for supplier and end-user inquiries providing end-to-end PO visibility.
Resolve issues efficiently, ensuring timely, accurate, and customer-centric responses.
Strengthen supplier relationships and improve overall buying experience.
Savings, Automation & Efficiency
Identify and deliver Opex and Capex savings opportunities through negotiations, demand optimization, and process improvements.
Drive automation initiatives, increasing catalog transactions and reducing manual touchpoints.
Support scalability and operational efficiency across the teams.
Facilitate best-practice sharing across categories and regions, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Process Improvement & Projects
Support SAP / Ariba enhancement initiatives and contribute to the myBUY automation roadmap.
Actively participate in Continuous Improvement efforts, identifying gaps and proposing pragmatic solutions.
Data Quality, Reporting & KPIs
Validate savings, operational reports, and Power BI dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
Maintain KPIs, documentation, and audit-ready records to support decision-making and governance.
Stakeholder Management & Governance
Engage with internal users, regional and category leaders through regular touchpoints and governance forums.
Provide inputs for weekly operational calls, track action plans, and follow up on commitments.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, competitive bidding standards, and "golden rules".
Qualifications

¿Who Are We Looking For?

Strong understanding of indirect procurement, category management, and sourcing fundamentals (TCO, risk management).
Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba / myBUY and advanced use of MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint); Power BI exposure.
Solid analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Interpersonal & Leadership
Trusted business partner with strong relationship-building, influencing, and assertive communication skills.
Proactive problem-solver with high resilience in fast-paced environments.
Comfortable leading trainings, guiding users, and driving change adoption.
