Job Summary
We are looking for a WCM (World Class Manufacturing Manager) Manager who will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in the factory. You will lead WCM strategy daily throughout the factory and have the opportunity to interact with all levels of the organization. This position is reported directly to the Factory Director.
This position is based in our Queretaro factory, Queretaro, Mexico
Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.
What you will do
As WCM Manager, you will:
* Lead WCM factory plan in conjunction with management you will establish and support the organizational structure around this, including steering group, pillar members, and working groups.
* Lead improvement teams to drive improvements.
* Lead development and utilization of visual content.
* Ensure data integrity and reliability to support KPI strategy.
* Support Employee involvement & training in WCM.
* Motivate and empower people through positive attitude and stimulate change utilizing change management techniques.
* Drive benchmarking of process improvements and best practice sharing.
* Coordinate WCM promotion and events including preparation for audits and awards.
* Maintain systems for WCM training / auditing.
* Develop, drive, and execute the local WCM Master Plan.
* Execute the defined action plans based on the quarterly assessments.
* Understand and contribute towards cost reduction and stated KPI's.
* Participate and actively contribute to global WCM pillar and forum teams.
* Report master plan, status and KPI's to global forums.
We believe you have
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience
* Previous WCM experience required
* Strong background in change management required
* Six Sigma and lean manufacturing background preferred
* Ability to coach and train individuals and teams in WCM methodologies and tools required
* Ability to audit processes to capture opportunities for improvement required
* Experience with Tetra Pak Straw manufacturing processes
* SAP experience a plus
* Strong written and verbal English language skills required
* Strong computer skills required
