Job Description:

As a Process & Industrialization Engineer, you will play a key role in developing, optimizing, and industrializing production processes within our plant. You will support cross-functional teams by applying technical expertise, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring that new products and technologies are introduced efficiently and according to Bosch Standards and BPS methodology.
Your contribution to something big:
* Defining and implementing measures to meet performance indicator targets, while promoting innovative solutions to create new standards;
* Providing proactive technical support to production areas, in resolving process, quality, and maintenance issues, and driving effective corrective actions;
* Evaluating suppliers' technical proposals and costs associated, ensuring compliance with specifications, budget constraints, and project timelines;
* Coordinating the development phases of new processes (namely equipment, tools, etc.) while ensuring their implementation in the plant, following all internal approval procedures;
* Preparing documentation for workstations (control plans, visual control instructions, operating instructions, etc.);
* Contributing to industrialization planning process for new projects, providing inputs regarding investments and implementation plans;
* Conducting industrialization studies for new products;
* Collaborating in standardized planning workshops:
* DFMA - providing input to optimize design for more efficient production;
* LLD - designing a production area made up of new investments;
* SCAL - detailing assembly times and optimizing investments;
* FOL - creating layouts aimed at optimizing production flow.
* Participating in D-FMEA by analyzing design risks and their impact on production and customer requirements;
* Carrying out P-FMEA activities by mapping the process, identifying failure modes and their effects on the product/customer, ensuring preventive and detection measures;
* Supporting R&D during new product industrialization projects according to Bosch guidelines and BPS methodology;
* Performing cost-benefit analyses and preparing documentation for equipment approval (APEQ) and capacity studies to approve investments;
* Monitoring production after SOP (Start of Production) to achieve target OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) by identifying issues, analyzing root causes, and implementing measures;
* Leading industrialization projects for new products up to EUR500k that require deep technical expertise in a specific technical area in accordance with Bosch Guidelines and BPS methodology, while being responsible for scheduling all the necessary activities.

Qualifications:

What distinguishes you:
Education
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience & Know-How
* Previous experience in industrialization, production engineering, or process optimization in an industrial environment;
* Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes, Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement tools, FMEA, DFMA, and production planning;
* Experience with equipment specifications, industrial investments, and technical documentation;
* Familiarity with OEE and capacity studies.
Languages
* Good command of English and Portuguese (written and spoken).
