Our Siemens business unit Motion Control (DI MC) is one of the world's leading providers of products, systems, solutions, and services in the field of Motion Control. This includes around 20,000 employees and the four business segments. With its global production sites, R&D, and service locations, MC is close to its customers and at home in a wide range of industries. At our factory network Siemens AG develops and manufactures electric motors for the global market. Our target customers are in the field of automation technology, in the automotive industry and in the field of intra-logistics.
We are planning to expand our Oradea plant into an even larger, modern, and more powerful Siemens Mechatronic Competence Center! This isn't just an expansion; it is a true transformation. As part of this strategic business development, we will be building a brand-new, state-of-the-art manufacturing area in Oradea. This new space will integrate critical parts of our production and associated support functions, creating a unified, high-performance hub for mechatronic expertise within Siemens.
Oradea will become one of Siemens' key competence centers, with new colleagues joining us, new technologies being implemented, and new capabilities strengthening our overall footprint.
Join our Quality team as a Quality assurance and FMEA moderator, responsible for ensuring that manufactured products meet internal quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory requirements.

This will be your impact:
* Ensure product quality compliance with specifications, drawings, standards, and customer requirements
* Plan and execute product quality activities across the manufacturing process (APQP, PPAP, control plans, FMEA, SPC)
* Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa)
* Monitor and analyze quality performance indicators (scrap, rework, defects, customer complaints): Product defect rate and process capability (Cp/Cpk); Scrap and rework reduction; Customer complaint resolution time and recurrence rate; Effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions; Audit findings and compliance performance
* Support new product introductions with quality planning, risk assessments, and validation activities
* Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Production teams to resolve quality issues
* Conduct internal product and process audits to verify compliance with quality standards
* Manage nonconforming material, deviations, and concession requests
* Support customer and supplier quality activities, including audits and issue resolution
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process capability
* Plan, organize, and moderate FMEA workshops in cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other relevant stakeholders.
* Ensure proper application of FMEA methodology (AIAG-VDA or company-specific standards) throughout the analysis process.
* Guide teams through systematic identification of potential failure modes, their effects, causes, and current controls.
* Facilitates risk assessment and prioritization using appropriate rating scales (Severity, Occurrence, Detection).
* Document FMEA results, action plans, and follow-up measures in designated tools and systems.
* Track implementation of recommended actions and ensure timely closure of identified risks.
* Provide training and coaching to team members on FMEA methodology and best practices.
* Maintain FMEA documentation in compliance with quality management system requirements and regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with quality management and engineering teams to ensure continuous improvement of products and processes.
* Support audits and reviews related to FMEA activities.
* Contribute to the development and refinement of FMEA standards, templates, and guidelines within the organization.

This is how you'll win us over:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering (Quality, Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field)
* Relevant experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment
* Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (SPC, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, MSA, 8D)
* Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, or similar quality management systems
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
* Excellent communication skills in Romanian and English (German desirable) and ability to work cross-functionally
* Proficiency in MS Office and quality data analysis tools
* Knowledge of statistical process control and process capability analysis
