Technical Support Assistant For Monalisa Project (Ref. 25-086-66886)

CREAF is seeking for a technical support assistant, for the MONALISA project "MONitoring and Assessing prevention and restoration soLutIons to combat deSertificAtion" with ref. 101157867 funded by the European Commission.
MONALISA will launch a transdisciplinary approach to integrate scientific and local knowledge, stemming from new social learning spaces and established with multisectoral stakeholders and multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary researchers. Work will focus on six Mediterranean case studies (CS), covering various aridity levels across five countries (Italy, Spain, Greece, Tunisia, and Palestine).
A full-time contract (37,5 hours/week) is offered, with a planned incorporation in january 2026 until December 31st, 2026 with the possibility of extension if required and if the budget allows. The offered salary is EUR23,690.41 gross per year (corresponding to category T4B).

MAIN FUNCTIONS:
* Support in the installation of monitoring plots.
* Soil and vegetation sampling.
* Sample processing.
* Sample analysis.
* Data processing and analysis.
* Report preparation.
* Participation in project meetings.
* Participation in communication activities.
* Preparation of communication content.
* Support in organizing activities related to the project (seminars, workshops).

REQUIREMENTS:
* Degree or equivalent with training in Soil Science (Geology, Environmental Biology,
* Environmental Sciences, Agricultural or Forestry Engineering).
* Proven experience in soil studies and vegetation monitoring.
* Advanced knowledge of statistics and R software.
* Category B driving license and availability of own vehicle.
* English level B2 or higher.

ASSESSABLE CONDITIONS:
* Work experience in restoration of degraded areas.
* Catalan level B2 or higher.
* Priority will be given to candidates with a recognized and certified disability of 33% or higher, provided that the disability is compatible with the proper performance of the position.

SELECTION PROCESS AND CRITERIA:
