We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our Technical Center within the R&D Center in Prague. The R&D Center in Prague is responsible for system validation activities supporting advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving technologies on a global scale. In this role, you will design and develop a multi-PB-scale cloud and hybrid big-data platform for system validation. You will work on data management, processing workflows across CPU/GPU clusters, REST APIs, web UI, and AI/ML-based data indexing and analytics. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional R&D, DevOps, and IT teams to deliver scalable solutions and ensure continuous improvement of the platform.

YOUR CHALLENGES?

Design and implement functionality of the Valeo System Validation big-data platform - a multi-PB-scale cloud and hybrid-cloud solution intended for AD/ADAS and other intelligent vehicle systems validation
* Data management
* Data transfers - global, on-prem, public clouds, Valeo customers, Valeo partners
* Data processing automation workflows - definition, execution, and orchestration across CPU and GPU compute clusters
* REST API services
* Web UI for users
* Data content indexing using AI/ML models (Vision-Language models, etc.)
* Data search, filtering, and analysis capabilities (big data), including processing, AI/ML model training and inference, annotation, sharing, etc.

* Analyze business requirements and user stories from internal and external customers and implement them into features and workflows as a full-stack developer in an Agile environment
* Close cooperation with departments such as R&D System Development & Validation, SW Tools Development, DevOps, IS/IT, Cyber Security, Product Lines, and SQA
* Documentation of implemented solutions according to Valeo standards
* Ownership, maintenance, and customization of implemented solutions based on current needs
* Perform specification reviews, software design reviews, and peer code reviews on a regular basis
* Active participation in solution usage with projects and customers to gather feedback and improve owned features
* Presentation and training of the solution to internal employees, partners, and customers
* Contribution to SW toolchain roadmap definition and planning
* Cooperation on system definition
* Compliance with company software quality processes

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU...

* Master degree in IT, Computer Science, Math, Electronics or equivalent Engineering discipline
* Advanced direct hands-on experience of the architecting, designing, programming and operating SW in business IT solutions
* Competence in SW technologies - Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
* Experience with design and usage of databases (SQL and noSQL)
* Experience with design of Web-based frontends, incl. active content in JS and JS frameworks
* Experience with Linux and its administration
* Knowledge of IP protocols, networking, firewalls and analysis tools
* Advantage is experience with the Cloud environments
* Quality oriented engineering attitude, understanding of software development process
* Experience with version control, change control tools
* Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
