Junior IT Security Officer

NN Insurance Hungary is looking for a talented professional to join NN Hungary's team as a Junior IT Security Officer. In this position, you will support the effective operation of the organization's information security control environment, including oversight of control monitoring, facilitation of risk management and compliance processes, and coordination of vendor and application security assessments. The role actively supports the CISO through reporting and analysis, driving the implementation of necessary security actions in close collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
* Support and improve local security architecture, policies, and reporting (e.g., risk dashboards, regulatory reports)
* Assist the CISO and coordinate local information security initiatives and projects
* Oversee IT control monitoring, identify gaps, and ensure proper follow-up actions
* Conduct vendor security assessments and track compliance findings
* Perform information security risk assessments (ISRA) and ensure remediation
* Provide security guidance and promote awareness across IT and business teams
* Support data protection activities and ensure proper DPO involvement
* Ensure compliant and transparent data handling practices

What matters to us:
* University/College degree in information technology or technical engineering;
* Confident English knowledge;
* 1-2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in multinational environment;
* Up-to-date knowledge of the IT security industry including awareness of new or revised security solutions and improved security processes.
