As part of Aon Transaction Solutions ("ATS"), you will join an industry-leading team specializing in transactional liability insurance products-including Representations & Warranties, Tax, and Litigation risk solutions-supporting private equity and corporate clients through complex M&A transactions. As a Broker Associate on the Tax team, you will partner closely with senior brokers to support the execution and placement of insurance solutions that bring certainty and value to our clients' deals.
This is a hybrid opportunity based in New York City, with minimum three days a week in the New York office.

What the day will look like
In this role, you will support senior brokers on the execution of complex transactional insurance placements, gaining hands-on exposure to M&A and other deal flow while contributing to high-impact client work.
* Partner with and support senior brokers in all facets of deal execution, from initial client intake through transaction signing and closing
* Assist with key initiatives and long-term projects supporting the growth of the Tax business
* Prepare analyses and materials for private equity and corporate clients, insurance carrier meetings, and internal discussions
* Collaborate across the Transaction Solutions team and broader Aon network to deliver seamless client service
* Build relationships internally and externally, developing trust and credibility with clients and carrier partners

This role offers early, hands-on exposure to live M&A transactions in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Rather than operating in a purely back-office capacity, you'll work directly with senior brokers and contribute to deal execution for private equity and corporate clients.
You'll develop a unique blend of analytical, financial, and client-facing skills within Aon's leading Transaction Solutions business-positioning you for long-term growth in a highly specialized and evolving space.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyze and present data effectively
* Strong collaboration skills with the ability to contribute as part of a team while also working independently with minimal direction
* Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to engage with internal stakeholders and external partners
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Must have the willingness to obtain an active Property and Casualty license within 90 days of hire
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
* Prior coursework or internship experience in Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or a related field

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $70,000 - $80,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of [State/Region]. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.
This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
