The CIC Analog Circuit Simulation team in Egypt is looking for 4 summer interns to work QA Engineers.

The SSP is our formal internship programs at SIEMENS Software. You will be mentored by guides and work directly with costumers to create direct business impact and again invaluable professional experience!
The program is a 2 months summer internship in July/August 2026. There will be opportunity to learn and contribute in a variety of areas of the software development process, with emphasis on a number of achievable projects to both encourage your development and deliver something useful.
Main Responsibilities:
* Aim to achieve a high-quality level for our market-leading solution for Siemens EDA Analog Circuit simulators; Solido Simulation Suite
* Participate in defining test and quality plans in collaboration with development and marketing teams.
* Design innovative test scenarios reflecting diverse customer models and simulator use cases.
* Test and monitor simulator performance & accuracy tradeoffs.
* Execute tests, analyze results, diagnose problems, report them to the development teams, and suggest potential solutions.
* Analyze customer-reported issues and design automated accuracy checks for real-world designs.
* Consider different quality attributes (FURPS) while validating products, with special emphasis on Usability (GUI) attributes.
* Create various test cases to evaluate new features using analog design languages (Spice, Verilog-A).
* Measure the test coverage and suggest improvements.
* Use the products as a designer and provide feedback and suggestions to enhance functionality and user experience using AI latest techniques.
* Analyze large-scale performance data using state-of-the-art methods.
Required skills, knowledge and experience
* 3rd or 4th year Student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
* Experience in Analog circuit design and usage of commercial Analog simulators.
* Experience in writing Verilog-A descriptions is a plus.
* Shell Scripting, UNIX knowledge, Programming and development experience is a Plus.
* Good knowledge of AI, Machine Learning (ML), and Large Language Model (LLM) concepts, along with familiarity with API testing.
* Knowledge of Software QA methodology along with test automation, regression prevention, and test coverage analysis.
* Familiarity with EDA Analog Design Environments (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso®, Synopsys Custom Designer®, Tanner S-Edit)
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated through clear documentation, test plans, bug reports, and team collaboration.
* Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Team player and willing to collaborate within a team environment.
* Highly developed communication and presentation skills
