We are currently looking for a Working Student - Compliance Strategy & Architecture to join the Compliance Strategy & Architecture Team, part of the Legal, Compliance & Risk Function. The position will be based in Frankfurt, Germany.

About the Job

The Compliance Strategy & Architecture Team shapes the strategic direction of Compliance by designing global frameworks, such as the Compliance Risk Framework and its alignment with the Non-Financial Risk Management (NFRM) framework.

The team coordinates enterprise-wide initiatives on behalf of Compliance and drives transformation across the Compliance function. Acting as a central hub for strategic change, the team links compliance strategy with technology architecture to enable scalable and future-proof solutions. As a Working Student, you will support the team across strategic, analytical, and transformation-related activities and gain hands-on experience in a global compliance environment.

What you do

* Support the Compliance Strategy & Architecture team in the design, documentation, and ongoing enhancement of the Compliance Risk Framework and its alignment with the NFRM
* Assist with data preparation, consolidation of inputs, quality checks, and support transformation or change initiatives
* Help analyze and structure compliance-related data for strategic reporting, dashboards, and management-ready presentations, working closely with compliance technology and architecture experts
* Provide general analytical and administrative support to ongoing strategic and transformation initiatives within the Compliance function
* Collaborate with the compliance team on ad hoc assignments and ongoing operational initiatives.

What you bring

* You are enrolled in a university program in Finance, Economics, Financial Law, Compliance, Risk or Audit, or Information/Data Management & Engineering, with curiosity and mindset valued more than the specific major
* You are fluent in English and have strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to structure complex topics and challenge existing approaches constructively
* You have an interest in the intersection of regulation, risk management, strategy, and technology within a global organization
* You are confident working with standard Microsoft tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and you are self-driven, reliable, and comfortable working in a dynamic, project-based environment alongside senior stakeholders
* Interest or experience in automation, analytics, or AI-enabled tools is a plus but not required
* Ability to use Microsoft Copilot, with a strong commitment to ethical and responsible AI practices.
