The USA & Group Development segment is driving Deutsche Telekom's group-wide portfolio strategy and value development forward. We are responsible for M&A transactions and tech investments (large scale & venture) and take over the asset management of our investments. We therefore play a central role in global decisions regarding the allocation of capital and the strategic development of the Group.

The Tech Fund Team is the point of contact for strategic tech investments (smaller venture tickets and larger strategic investments) from Deutsche Telekom. The team works closely with management teams, investors and internal stakeholders and supports investments throughout the entire life cycle and also manages the portfolio of existing investments. The team focuses on evaluating the strategic component/joint value creation with Deutsche Telekom's business units - how can tangible added value be created from investments.

Your tasks
Whether it's a mandatory or voluntary internship - as an intern (m/f/d), you will definitely benefit from attractive remuneration and will support the team with the following responsible tasks from July 1, 2026:

* Support in the strategic evaluation of tech investments across the entire deal cycle
* Preparation of presentations, company profiles and decision templates
* Carrying out trend, market, industry and competition analyses in the relevant focus areas
* Close exchange with business units to derive strategic priorities
* Support in portfolio and asset management of investments
* Collaboration in group-wide projects in the areas of strategy, investment and business development

Your profile
Are you studying economics, business administration, finance, management or a comparable course of study or are in a gap year.

You also have the following knowledge and skills:

* First practical experience in corporate finance, M&A, venture capital, strategy or consulting is an advantage
* Analytical thinking and confident use of numbers
* Interest and ideally previous commercial experience with new technologies such as AI, cyber security, cloud or IoT
* Structured and independent way of working
* Proactive team player with a strong willingness to learn
* Very good communication skills
* Very good English language skills, German is a plus
