Job Description

You are joining our team within the CIB Research department, which is looking for a Trainee Assistant Rates Strategist , for an internship 6 months from July 2026.

Within the department, the interest rate strategy aims to monitor and analyze the sovereign bond market in the eurozone and the United States (cash and derivatives). based on current economic and financial news as well as developing a scenario of the evolution of this market using various methods including quantitative models.
In collaboration with your tutor, your main tasks will be:
* Develop and update databases and monitor the primary market (sovereign issues of the Eurozone States) in connection with the interest rate strategy;
* Development of a long project on a fair value or forecast model for one or more products;
* Participate in writing daily and weekly comments on the interest rate market (Daily, Weekly);
* Update and improve existing models;
* Respond to requests from Research and the professions (sales, trading).

This internship offers an excellent overview of the sovereign bond markets, allows you to understand its main trends as well as to become familiar with different actors and products.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience
