About the Role:

As a Data Engineer Intern, you will support the team in building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and platforms to ensure reliable data availability across the organization. You will gain hands-on experience in managing data ingestion, orchestrating workflows, and contributing to the maintenance of platform performance. This role is ideal for individuals with foundational knowledge in programming and SQL who are eager to learn about data architecture and support data-driven initiatives. You will work closely with the Senior Data Engineers to clean, govern, and structure data, supporting broader AI/ML engineering efforts.

What You'll Do:

You will be responsible for supporting the following tasks:

* Analyze and organize raw data under guidance.
* Assist in combining raw information from different sources.
* Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability.
* Support the development and updating of technical documentation.
* Assist with ingesting data and maintaining data pipelines to ensure compliance with data and architectural standards.
* Help develop and maintain current data ingestion processes.
* Support platform monitoring and optimization (data quality, platform performance, platform cost).
* Collaborate with team members to ensure data integrity between systems.
* Work with data and analytics experts to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.

Requirements:

* Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
* Basic proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) with familiarity in using versioning tools (e.g., GIT).
* Basic hands-on experience with SQL (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, Redshift).
* Eagerness to learn workflow management tools (e.g., Airflow).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
