Internship - Software Developer (Marketing and Sales IT)

What's the role?
Join the Marketing & Sales IT (FIM) team within Hilti Global IT, where you will build and enhance systems that support global sales, customer engagement, and marketing platforms.

In this role, you'll be part of an international team delivering digital solutions that improve customer engagement and marketing effectiveness across global markets, while contributing directly to systems that drive commercial operations.
As a Software Engineer Intern, you will develop and maintain backend and platform-based solutions within a Scrum team, working across the software delivery lifecycle-implementing business logic, extending platform capabilities, and delivering reliable, well-tested functionality.

You will gain hands-on experience working with cloud environments (e.g., AWS) and enterprise platforms (e.g., Salesforce, SAP), contributing to scalable solutions in a distributed ecosystem. You will also work with AI-assisted development tools, including Kiro, applying spec-driven development to guide implementation and improve code quality.

What You'll Bring

* Hands-on experience building scalable backend and platform-driven solutions
* Exposure to event-driven systems and modern distributed architectures
* Practical experience across cloud and enterprise platform environments (e.g., AWS and Salesforce)
* Experience working with modern engineering practices and AI-assisted development tools
