Client Management Internship Programme 2026

Our Client Management team sits at the centre of how we build and manage relationships with clients across our global Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) business. We work across products, markets and teams to deliver solutions that support our clients' ambitions.

As an intern, you'll work alongside experienced colleagues, gain exposure to real client challenges, and start building the skills needed to develop trusted relationships in international banking.

About the Internship Programme - how you'll learn and grow

You'll be part of a skills-first organisation where your potential matters more than your background. During the internship, you'll work on real business challenges, develop practical skills, and learn how we support clients, facilitate trade, and finance growth across our markets.

Working with colleagues across our global network, you'll build the confidence, experience, and connections to support your future career.

You'll benefit from:

* A structured induction and onboarding experience
* Exposure to our products, clients and international network
* Real work and meaningful responsibilities from day one
* Training to develop technical, professional and behavioural skills
* Ongoing support from managers, mentors and buddies
* Opportunities to learn from senior leaders and industry experts
* Ways to get involved in community and volunteering initiatives.

Bring the skills - we'll help you to build your career

We're interested in your potential, not just your degree subject. Whether you're studying business, finance, technology, engineering or another discipline, we're looking for people who are motivated to learn, solve problems and make an impact.

You might be someone who:

* Enjoys building relationships and understanding client needs
* Is curious about businesses, industries, and global markets
* Can think critically and use analysis and sound judgement to solve problems
* Communicates clearly and confidently with different clients and stakeholders
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues across different teams and markets
* Learns quickly, stays curious and looks for opportunities to grow and develop
* Adapts confidently in a fast-paced and evolving environment
* Takes ownership and shows initiative.

Eligibility

To apply, you should:

Have graduated in 2026 or be due to graduate in 2027
Be available to start the internship in August 2026
Have the permanent legal right to work in the country you're applying to

You can only submit one application within a six-month period, so we encourage you to choose the opportunity that best fits your interests and career goals.
