Job Summary

Support the Planning team in the day-to-day execution and analysis of production and/or demand planning activities within a metal-mechanical manufacturing environment. This role will help ensure accurate planning, data integrity, and operational support by maintaining reports, analyzing indicators, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The Planning Intern (Metalworking) will be based) will be based in Guadalajara, North Campus

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:
* Support the creation, update, and maintenance of production and/or demand plans.
* Track plan compliance (plan vs. actual) and support follow-up activities.
* Maintain and update planning reports using Excel and internal systems (e.g., Kinaxis, Baan).
* Analyze data to identify risks or improvement opportunities related to capacity, demand, and inventory.
* Support load balancing and capacity validation (headcount, machinery).
* Assist in the generation and maintenance of dashboards and KPIs (Tableau).
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Production, Purchasing, and Logistics.
* Support process documentation and operational improvements.

Here is some of what you'll need (required):
* Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
* Intermediate Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables).
* Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
* Interest in supply chain, production planning, and data analysis.
* Ability to organize information and manage multiple tasks.
* Proactive mindset and strong teamwork skills.
